I’m a total sucker for anything involving ancient history, so I finally curled up to watch that new Pompeii documentary with Tom Hiddleston. The whole premise is that his version of Loki, the God of Stories, is here to set the record straight on the eruption of Vesuvius.
It’s a really fun way to look at a historical event. Beyond the story itself, the visuals of the volcano were just incredible. It was a powerful reminder of the earth’s raw force, the kind of thing you see in really impactful nature photography that just stops you in your tracks.
